RE:Self

You ever wished your diary could talk back to you? Me neither, but someone out there might.

RE:Self is an AI reflection journal that seeks to cultivate emotional reappraisal skills. As the 0-to-1 UI/UX Designer I was tasked with creating the first product iteration, from wireframing and visual identity to prototyping interactive journaling flows. My role centered on corroborating our design choices to established psychiatric models and ensuring our features were supportive of user-driven reflection, rather than intrusive denial of self-authorship.

Note: publication-in-progress, limited details shown.

IV. Graveyard of Ideas

Over the course of 5 months our team iterated through several psychiatric models, each of which reflected differently through design.

Here are some of the old slightly-gold designs to be produced then laid down during this process.
